Welcome to Issobell's Meadow
This is the beginning of a humble web comic which relates the adventures of a country girl who happens to live in an old shire, in the timeless time when legends happen.
Stories will range from the poetic, to the joyful, to quaint humor, to occassional melancholy. We will explore the wide fields of pagan lore, pay homage to the Land and to those old gods and spirits who dwell there, but always through the eyes of a strong-spirited child with eyes wide with wonder, and a heart full of magick.
I wish these stories to be enjoyed by pagan children, and their parents alike, since there are never enough materials for our children available. Of course, I hope not only pagan children and adults but non-pagans with open minds and hearts will find some entertainment here.
The art will be simple, and colorless, quite simply because I've been meaning to do this for a while now, and honestly, I could never keep up with full detail and colors on a regular schedule. So I hope you'll forgive the simplicity of these pieces. maybe some readers might enjoy coloring print-outs?
For the moment at least, the entries will be bi-weekly. I might do a Spanish version one of these days, too.
